Sunburst Tangerines
A mandarin orange by any other name is a tangerine. Not the over-processed mandarin you find in cans at the grocery, you understand, but the fresh, distinct, and irresistible variety grown in our Indian River groves. Having origins in China, the fruit took the long way to Europe via Tangier, Morocco. Hence, its new name: Tangerine. Tangier has become a bustling tourist town and its flavorful namesake has the world's attention, as well. Our deep red-orange Sunburst variety won't be around long, so place your order now!
Ruby Grapefruit
“Traditional Pink”
In the early 1700's, a fleet of Spanish galleons, loaded with gold, silver, and jewels, were shipwrecked off the coast of Indian River County, earning that portion of Florida's seaboard the name "Treasure Coast". Fortune seekers have recovered much of the loot, but there's still a gem to be found on the mainland: our Ruby grapefruit. It's a remarkably delicious find, loaded with flavor, vitamin C, fiber, antioxidants, and a pulp that sparkles like the stone it's named for. Treasure hunters, your search is over!
