How to care for your citrus
Oranges last longest in a cool area that’s well ventilated. They maintain their flavor and quality for up to six weeks when refrigerated between 35 degrees Fahrenheit and 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Wipe off any surface moisture. Do not store in a plastic bag.
Grapefruit are best stored between 50 degrees Fahrenheit and 55 degrees Fahrenheit in a well ventilated, cool area away from moisture. The skin of the grapefruit can discolor if left in the refrigerator too long. Since it is a tropical fruit, it is sensitive to cold, but only superficially. Blemishes on the peel do not affect the flavor of the fruit inside.

What are the cut-off dates for guaranteed standard delivery for upcoming holidays?
To assure Thanksgiving delivery, your orders should be in our hands by November 15 (for AZ, CA, LA and TX by November 12th); for Hanukkah delivery, by November 24 (for AZ, CA, LA and TX by November 12; for Christmas delivery, by noon on December 17 (for AZ, CA, LA and TX by December 14). For New Years delivery by December 21, (for AZ, CA, LA and TX by December 14).
Canadian Delivery:
Gift packages may be ordered for delivery to the provinces of Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes. There is an additional $20.00 charge per delivery for this service. Please make payments payable in U.S dollars.
Canadian order deadline for Thanksgiving delivery is November 19, for Hanukkah delivery November 29, and for Christmas and New Year delivery December 19.
How many pieces of fruit are in the standard packs?

What are the shipping and handling charges?
Standard shipping is FREE!
If you specifically request UPS or FedEx delivery, there is an extra per-package charge plus standard shipping and processing. Extra charges apply when shipping to Alaska, Hawaii and Canada. Please call for rates.
How long does it take for a package to arrive?
Standard delivery will arrive during the selected arrival week
Express orders made before noon EST will ship the same day, and orders made after noon EST will ship the following day.
Holiday selections will arrival during the following times:
Christmas: 12/8-12/24
Thanksgiving: 11/19-11/26
Hanukkah: 11/28-12/06
Where does the gift message appear?
Your personalized gift message will be included on the label to notify the recipient you are the generous sender. Please note that not all gifts have a label that supports a gift message.
Where do you ship?
During the seasonal months of November through April, Sun Harvest Citrus delivers packages to:
- The Continental US, Alaska and Hawaii*
- Canadian Provinces of Quebec, Ontario and Maritimes.

How do you ship your packages?
Our products are shipped in climate-controlled trucks to a distribution center near you. The package is then delivered right to your door by the US Post Office. Years of experience have proven this is the best method for our products.
What is your Freshness Guarantee?
It’s simple: If the gift you order doesn’t arrive fresh and perfect-if you and your gift recipients aren’t totally delighted-we’ll make it right.
How secure is your online ordering?
Sun Harvest Citrus wants you to know that your online orders are secure. Our software ensures a secure environment for sensitive data. All orders are placed through a compatible Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) browser, which scrambles private data such as credit card numbers while they are being transmitted. The SSL ensures that unintended parties cannot intercept private information.
U.S. Shipping Guidelines
For requested UPS ground delivery rates vary. Please contact customer care. This delivery option will not shorten standard delivery time.
Normal delivery time is 10-14 days.

Express Shipping
Express shipping is available Monday through Wednesday only. Please call for rates. Rates are based on total weight and delivery zone, plus our standard handling charge.
Most orders placed by 10 a.m. can be delivered within 2-3 business days.
Please allow at least 4 business days prior to a holiday when requesting Express Shipping.
We do not ship to Europe.
Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii
For shipments to Alaska please call 1-800-990-8884 for rates. We do not ship fruit to Hawaii.

Additional Shipping & Processing Information
All shipping and processing charges are based on the regular price of merchandise shipped to a named recipient at a single address. To ensure your gift arrives in perfect condition, we recommend shipping to a street address, not a P.O. Box. Incorrect addresses may delay shipment. Please double-check your recipients address. We reserve the right to correct error(s) in printed or electronic publications. If rising costs affect shipping charges, a surcharge may be included and will be reflected in your order total.
Outside U.S. Shipping Guidelines
We ship to the following provinces only: Quebec, Ontario and Maritimes.
Standard shipping and handling to Canada will have an additional $20 charge per package.
For Christmas Delivery, your order must be in our hands by December 12th.
Normal delivery time is 10 - 14 days.
No shipping to PO Boxes
We do not ship to Europe.
Ordering Information
Sun Harvest Citrus shipping season begins in Mid-November and continues into June. Our fruit is picked, packed and shipped quickly to ensure grove fresh arrival to your door. Our temperature controlled trucks rush your orders to most areas, then standard local delivery to your home is made by the U.S. Postal Service.

In very rare instances, we may need to make a substitution to your order due to weather or shipment delays. Be assured that the item we substitute will be of equal or greater value than the item you ordered.
We are required by law to collect state and local taxes for shipments to states in which we have established a physical or economic presence. The taxability of food or combination of items varies by state. Delivery & processing will be taxed when the product is taxable. Tax is only an estimate. Applicable taxes will be applied when your payment is processed.
All exempt customers need to provide us with proper documentation. For example: a copy of your state’s resale certificates, exemption certificates, or other acceptable proof of your exempt status for the state to which the product is shipped. Please email this documentation to info@sunharvestcitrus.com prior to submitting your order.
From time to time Sun Harvest Citrus may offer special promotions or discounts. In these instances the discount valid through date will be published on the promotion. It should also be noted that promotions or discounts are not valid on previous purchases and cannot be combined with any other offer or discount.
Why did my citrus come with blue mold?
We take extraordinary measures to ensure that your fruit arrives in perfect condition. In rare cases, freshly picked fruit can have mold first shows up when in transit. Rest assured that if you or your gift recipients are not delighted with a Sun Harvest Citrus shipment for any reason, please let us know. We will promptly send a replacement or issue a refund, whichever you prefer.
